Whether you're driving, taking a bus, plane, or train to Split, the island of Hvar is very easy to get to.
There are direct bus connections every 30 minutes from the Split airport to the harbor.
Different lines run all year-round.

By car or on foot, the daily car-ferry will take you from Split to Stari Grad, 11km from Jelsa.
There is also a passenger-only daily catamaran leaving Split at 16:30 to Jelsa and returning daily each morning at 06:00.
A ferryboat from Rijeka to Stari Grad is also available every day during the season.
